Waiver Wire Recap 09/22

For all of the crap Yurk has (deservedly) gotten for his Chris Brooks bid, it was actually Mark who spent the most money per point this week as Caleb Douglas was the bell of the waiver ball after Week 1 and he celebrated by getting hurt and is now iffy for Week 3.
Brendan showed his future Hall of Famer acumen by spending zero dollars to nab the second best IDP pickup of the week.
With 18 teams, the waiver wire is pretty bereft of talent which hopefully means we’ll see more trades this year. It also means that Yurk’s big bid probably won’t hurt him as there aren’t really many guys worth spending money on unless someone surprising gets dropped.
This upcoming week will give us our first QB scramble as there are at least three teams are in the hunt for a new starting QB.
