TRADE GRADE: Kenneth Walker III for Chris Olave

The trade market is heading up! Derek looks to redeem himself after being taken to the cleaners by his little brother. Kevin looks to find meaning in life in fantasy football as he lays on his couch all day, binging House, which I don’t recommend because when you watch a bunch in a row you realize how ridiculous the show is and how formulaic it was.

DEREK: B
This is a classic Buy Low move by Derek and he held his ground, only willing to give up his fourth best receiver. Kenneth Walker III could be a difference maker if Zach Charbonnet were to get hurt again. And even with Charbs around, Walker is always close to breaking a big play. The problem is that Zach isn’t hurt and he’s often outsnapped Walker. He’s also gotten the lion’s share of the red zone carries, making this the most frustrating backfield in fantasy football. That being said, Derek was going to start Tyjae Spears this week so even a frustrating week for Walker is better than the alternatives.

KEVIN: C-
The Gentleman loves him some target monsters. Olave will likely take over the league lead in targets this week; he’s currently one behind Puka Nacua. Needless to say, Chris isn’t having the same success with those targets as Puka is and, oddly enough, Olave’s worst game this season is the game when he actually scored a touchdown. The Gentleman painted themselves in a corner on draft night - or was pushed into the corner by the BULLSHIT Courtland Sutton bidding - by not investing in the WR position. Garrett Wilson’s injury made a trade a must. Olave wasn’t the top choice but, again, he’s a target monster and there are rumblings that he could be traded, which would likely boost his value. His targets will go down but being on a legitimate team should be a plus. Still, one hates to sell low on RB and Walker’s the better player in this deal. Sadly, the market for Kenny was weak and this is the best The Gentleman could do.
