WEEK 3 PODCAST REVIEW
/An hour and 21 minutes?!
Excuses are no way to open a podcast. Thanks to Andy for calling Eli out and setting his priorities straight.
WOW! Calling out The Gentleman! I WROTE WHAT I WROTE! I STAND BY MY ETHICS! One thing I didn’t realize was that Josh Jacobs has allegedly an easy schedule the rest of the way. That might make it a better deal but I’m still not wild about Andy’s WRs. This is a big week for Andy as Golden and Jacobs face the all hat, no cattle Cowboys and should be able to have boom weeks.
And for shame, that you think giving average grades for average trades is “hack” or lacks courage. The written word concerns itself only with truth. No need to chase hot takes like cable news and podcast pundits.
Although I should LOVE the trade because I play Andy next week when the Packers have their bye. In fact, SIX of Andy’s players have byes so he’ll need some injuries tomorrow if he doesn’t want to start three backup RBs next week. (Well, two since Chris Rodriguez is technically the starter for the Commies.) Not a bad set up for me as Bijan is also on bye next week.
And then Eli speaks the name that won’t be spoken and immediately blames Andy for not stopping him. Maybe his ethics haven’t awoken from his long slumber.
In defense of Derek, Tyjae Spears is a solid hold because there are rumblings that the Titans could have a fire sale if they continue to struggle and Tony Pollard could be on the move, which would make Spears - when he gets over his high ankle sprain - the starter.
Eli, thanks for the kind words about my squad!
Does Andy think that doing the podcast duties covers his dues and Vegas expenses?
Eli doesn’t know the name of his best player and doesn’t know who his opponent is this week?! That is especially sad since THE COLTS ARE PLAYING IN LOS ANGELES!
The Buga Sphere is allegedly twelve THOUSAND five hundred and sixty years old, not twelve hundred.
FUN FACT: Limewire bought Fyre Festival for $245,000. It was sold on EBay.
“Turned out” has a different meaning nowadays than “looking good”. Eli doesn’t spend enough time around strip clubs and pimps.
Andy should have control of the outro so he can play Eli off when he starts rambling about questionably truthful historic factoids. (Although Google does have both fancies and fanatic as the forefathers of “fan”.)
Another great podcast, gents! Keep ‘em coming!
