Bouqs Review
/March has been a busy yet slow month for me. It’s the life of a single, remote reality TV worker - a lot of work but you just end up stuck in your apartment all day. I fear I’ve fallen into a bit of a rut but I’m hoping to turn things around after this weekend. It’s my nephew’s birthday so I’m going to use his big day as the inspiration for my own rebirth. Granted, I’ve said this same thing for every holiday or whatever all year. Just this week I said that Daylight Savings would be when I turn the clock back and turn my effort up! Clearly, that didn’t happen but hopefully things will turn around soon.
Anyway, one of the New Things that I’m going to try is a new flower service. I got Bouqs for my sister-in-law one Christmas and she loved it. I got it for myself and while I liked the first two deliveries, they both arrived late. My latest bouquet came about a week late and, as one would guess, the flowers were not in great shape when they finally arrived.
I’ve decided to try another service so for the next three months, I’m going with Urban Stems. I don’t want to say that people should avoid Bouqs since my sister-in-law still loves in and the flowers look great whenever I visit but maybe there’s an issue with LA. Either way, it was a nice service and Bouqs seems to be the cheapest option (Urban Stems is 60 bucks whereas I believe Bouqs is just under $50) but we’ll see if this new service puts my money where their marigolds are.
